The new roster for the remaining rounds 4-14 will be published over the weekend or Monday at the latest.

Please note that as per Regulation 6.4, as of round 4 fill-in scores no longer count towards the total team score. Should a fill-in score, the umpire could (if they’re not aware) still indicate a score, but it is the scoring Duty member’s responsibility to ensure that these scores are noted in the scoresheet’s Fill-In section, and as such NOT go towards the total team score. Besides this, all players, and especially Captains, are advised to read up on team and fill-in regulations (Section 6 and related Section 3).

About Water Basketball Tasmania
Water Basketball is a sport developed by The Hobart Aquatic Centre. It involves two teams of 6 players, who pass the ball down the pool to their goal end, which is a hoop similar to basketball. Each player wears flippers (and a cap to identify which team they are playing for). Goals are scored as two or three points depending how far from the goals you are.

Why do ducks play Nuts 3 times in 14 weeks ,shouldn’t it be twice in an 8 team competion.

    • Hi Andrew,

As per my comments in the post as well as on the roster page, we are aware of the issues and are fixing it up. Once I receive the updated roster from the guys some time tonight or early tomorrow, I will post it on the website.
