The Social Competition final standings are now available on the ladder page. Thanks to everyone who came along and ensured that we had 4 teams every night and thanks to the board members for organising and umpiring. Four new players would like to join a team and I will be in contact with the captains to see where they are most needed.

Kath will be following up with all captains regarding team registration sheets during the upcoming week so please assist in a timely manner (a few captains already have, thank you), which will allow us to prepare for the upcoming second regular 2015 competition. After a break next week (no games 16/7) we start on 23/7 as shown on the previously published year planner). The roster (games/duty/umpiring) will be published by end of next week.

About Water Basketball Tasmania
Water Basketball is a sport developed by The Hobart Aquatic Centre. It involves two teams of 6 players, who pass the ball down the pool to their goal end, which is a hoop similar to basketball. Each player wears flippers (and a cap to identify which team they are playing for). Goals are scored as two or three points depending how far from the goals you are.
