The ladder and top scoring rankings have also been updated under Statistics.

A reminder for all captains; as soon as your team line up changes, update your team sheet and submit it to Kyle and Dave at least a day before game night. If a player has joined your team (and is not with another team) but is not printed on the team sheet, then he/she will be regarded as an unregistered fill-in and, while their scores will go towards the team total, they will not be eligible for top-scoring (as in their scores will not go against their name) and B & F points.

The umpiring roster has been updated up to and including round 9. It is being published in 3 sections this season due to the (sometimes unexpected) unavailability of umpires, to allow for some last minute changes and ensuring umpires get an even workload.

Weekly Rule Highlight

Substituting may only occur along the halfway line and the player leaving the field must be under or past the rope before the other player enters the field (see section 1 and 5 of the Regulations and ). Late arrivals must also enter the field via the interchange area/halfway line.

About Water Basketball Tasmania
Water Basketball is a sport developed by The Hobart Aquatic Centre. It involves two teams of 6 players, who pass the ball down the pool to their goal end, which is a hoop similar to basketball. Each player wears flippers (and a cap to identify which team they are playing for). Goals are scored as two or three points depending how far from the goals you are.
