REMINDER to all Duty teams – please make sure all balls and other equipment are accounted for at the end of the night. We found a ball in the 50m pool last night after everyone had left. We have 5 new balls – I can’t remember how may of the older pink ones (about 5 as well). In any case, do a quick scan around the 2 pools to make sure.

Also, one of the (basket) rings is broken (few weeks ago). We’ll try and get that fixed asap, but just a reminder to the Duty teams for that as well; make sure you line up the basket correctly before you click it into the catch/lock on the wall. Don’t bend and force it in if not alligned properly.

Last regular round (14) next week before we head into the Quarter Finals 16 Nov, Semi Finals 23 Nov and Grand Finals 30 Nov.

About Water Basketball Tasmania
Water Basketball is a sport developed by The Hobart Aquatic Centre. It involves two teams of 6 players, who pass the ball down the pool to their goal end, which is a hoop similar to basketball. Each player wears flippers (and a cap to identify which team they are playing for). Goals are scored as two or three points depending how far from the goals you are.
